1. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the App accesses, stores, uses, and shares information when you use the App.

This policy covers:

  • information stored locally on your device;
  • information processed by third-party services integrated into the App, including advertising and consent tools;
  • choices available to you regarding your information.

This Privacy Policy applies only to this App. Any third-party websites, services, apps, platforms, or tools that may be accessed from or used with the App may have their own privacy policies and practices.

2. Summary

  • The App does not require account registration or login.
  • We do not operate a user account system or cloud-based profile for your learning progress, saved prompts, bookmarks, or preferences.
  • Most App data, including learning progress, bookmarks, quiz scores, checklist scores, settings, and saved prompts, is stored locally on your device.
  • The App may display advertisements using Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK.
  • The App may use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present consent choices and privacy options where required by applicable law.
  • The App includes sharing features that allow you to share selected text content with other apps or services you choose.
  • The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call logs, or precise location.

3. Information We Access, Collect, Use, or Share

3.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores certain information locally on your device to provide its core features and improve your experience. This may include:

  • onboarding completion status;
  • theme or display preferences, such as dark mode;
  • recent lesson activity;
  • lesson completion progress;
  • lesson bookmarks;
  • favorite prompts;
  • saved prompts and generated prompt content;
  • quiz scores;
  • checklist and audit scores;
  • other app preferences needed to personalize your experience and keep your progress.

Purpose of Local Storage

We use this locally stored information to:

  • provide the App’s core features;
  • remember your preferences;
  • restore your saved content;
  • help you continue lessons and exercises where you left off;
  • support offline or partially offline use of the App.

How Local Data Is Handled

This information is stored on your device. It is not uploaded to a Developer-controlled user account or cloud profile because the App does not provide account registration or Developer-hosted sync.

If you use the App on multiple devices, your local data may not automatically transfer between devices unless your device platform, backup settings, or operating system handles that process independently.

4. Data Processed by Google AdMob and Related Google Advertising Technologies

The App may integrate Google advertising and consent technologies, including:

  • Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK; and
  • Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).

When ads are requested, loaded, displayed, measured, or managed, Google and its service providers or partners may automatically collect, receive, use, or share certain information. This may include:

  • IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
  • device and account identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID, app set ID, and other identifiers made available by the device or platform;
  • app interactions, such as app launches, taps, ad impressions, ad views, video views, and related ad interaction events;
  • diagnostic information, such as crash-related, performance-related, and SDK performance information;
  • consent choices and privacy preferences used for compliance purposes;
  • general location information inferred from IP address.

Purposes of Advertising Data Processing

This information may be processed for purposes such as:

  • serving ads;
  • limiting ad frequency;
  • measuring ad performance;
  • preventing fraud and abuse;
  • improving security and troubleshooting;
  • analyzing ad delivery and SDK performance;
  • complying with legal, regulatory, and platform privacy requirements.

Third-Party Processing

Advertising-related information may be processed by Google, Google AdMob and Google advertising systems, consent management systems operated through Google, and advertising, measurement, or fraud-prevention partners involved in ad delivery, depending on configuration and applicable law.

We do not control how Google or its partners independently process information collected through their SDKs. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies, terms, and technologies.

5. Information You Choose to Share

The App includes features that allow you to share prompt text, lesson-related text, or other selected content using apps or services installed on your device.

If you choose to use a sharing feature:

  • the selected content may be transferred to the app, platform, or service you choose;
  • the transfer is initiated by you;
  • the privacy practices of the receiving app, platform, or service are governed by that third party, not by us.

6. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect Directly

Because the App does not provide account registration, login, or a Developer-operated user profile system, we do not intentionally require or directly collect the following through our own account system:

  • name;
  • email address for account sign-in;
  • password;
  • postal address;
  • phone number;
  • payment card information;
  • government identification numbers;
  • health information;
  • contacts;
  • photos;
  • audio recordings;
  • precise GPS location.

This does not limit information that may be processed by third-party SDKs, such as Google AdMob, as described in this Privacy Policy.

7. How We Use Information

We use information handled by the App to:

  • provide educational content, prompts, projects, quizzes, and tools;
  • personalize the App experience on your device;
  • save progress, preferences, bookmarks, and saved prompts locally;
  • display and manage advertisements;
  • request, store, and manage privacy choices where required;
  • maintain, troubleshoot, and improve App reliability;
  • protect against misuse, abuse, fraud, and security risks;
  • comply with legal obligations and platform requirements.

9. Sharing of Information

9.1 Sharing by the Developer

We do not sell your personal information through a Developer-operated customer database because we do not maintain such a database for this App.

We do not disclose your locally stored progress, bookmarks, prompts, quiz scores, checklist scores, or settings to our own servers because the App does not use a Developer-hosted account or sync service.

9.2 Sharing Through Third-Party SDKs and Services

The App may allow third-party services to collect or receive information as described in this Privacy Policy, especially for:

  • advertising;
  • ad measurement;
  • fraud prevention;
  • consent management;
  • diagnostics related to ad delivery and SDK performance.

Depending on applicable law, some third-party advertising disclosures may be considered “sharing” for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

10.1 Local App Data

Information stored locally by the App is generally retained until one of the following occurs:

  • you clear it from within the App;
  • you clear the App’s data in your device settings;
  • you uninstall the App;
  • your device or operating system removes the App’s local storage.

The App may provide in-app options to clear certain locally stored information, such as saved progress and saved prompts.

10.2 No Account Deletion Process

Because the App does not provide account creation or sign-in, there is no App account to delete.

10.3 Third-Party Retention

Information collected or processed by Google AdMob, Google Mobile Ads SDK, Google UMP, or other third-party services may be retained according to those third parties’ own policies and legal obligations. We do not control their retention schedules.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the App.

However, please note:

  • local data security also depends on the security of your device and operating system;
  • no method of storage, transmission, or electronic processing is completely secure;
  • information handled by third-party SDKs is protected according to those third parties’ own security practices.

Because the App does not maintain a Developer-operated cloud account database, many App data items remain local to your device instead of being stored on our servers.

12. International Data Transfers

Third-party providers integrated into the App, including Google, may process information in countries outside your country of residence.

By using the App, you understand that third-party services may transfer, store, or process information internationally in accordance with their own privacy practices and applicable law.

13. Your Choices and Controls

Depending on your device, region, and applicable law, you may have some or all of the following options:

  • clear locally stored progress and saved prompts from the App’s Settings page, where available;
  • clear App data through your device settings;
  • uninstall the App;
  • reset or limit your Android advertising ID through Android settings where supported;
  • use privacy controls presented through the App’s consent and privacy options flow;
  • review your Google advertising and privacy settings through Google;
  • choose whether to use the App’s sharing features.

If you contact us regarding a privacy request, please note that our ability to identify, access, correct, or delete information may be limited when the relevant information is stored only locally on your device or is controlled by a third party such as Google.

14. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years old or the minimum digital age required in the relevant jurisdiction, whichever is higher.

We do not knowingly create Developer-operated user profiles for children because the App does not offer account creation.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us directly, please contact us at rentavlena@gmail.com. We will review the issue and take reasonable steps where appropriate.

16. Device Permissions and Access

The App does not intentionally request the following runtime permissions for its core functionality:

  • camera;
  • microphone;
  • contacts;
  • call logs;
  • SMS;
  • precise location;
  • photos or media library access.

The App may use network connectivity for advertising, consent management, sharing, SDK-related operations, and other platform-supported functions.

17. Independent Educational App Notice

Figma AI Design Handbook is an independent educational handbook. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Figma.

The App does not provide official Figma access, login, API integration, paid services, or official support. All names are used only for educational and descriptive purposes.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:

  • changes to App features;
  • legal or regulatory updates;
  • Google Play policy changes;
  • SDK or advertising technology updates;
  • operational, security, or privacy improvements.

When we make changes, we may update the in-app policy text and revise the “Last updated” date above.
